This course is a comprehensive modular type program that specifically addresses general practitioner’s individual needs for enhancement on specific areas of oral surgery. It focuses on three main essential key points of learning namely, proper case evaluation and treatment planning, skilful delivery of treatment, prevention and management of complications. The program is designed to enhance a general practitioner’s diagnostic skills, hone surgical competency to perform minor oral surgeries and be able to avoid or manage complications. At the end of course, the participant is expected to learn how to formulate a detail treatment plan and be able to execute it based on standards of care and principles governing the practice of oral surgery.
